You may not know this about me....I blinking love working with women. (not really a shocker of the day at all)
Women in business. Women running businesses. Women leading businesses. Women who are building, rebuilding, launching, figuring it out as they go. Women who are grafting, growing, showing up for themselves and others.
Women who are holding the sky up, fixing all the things, playing whac-a-mole on every part of their lives.
Whether it’s through training, coaching, networks or just good old-fashioned real conversations - give me a room full of women who are ready to get stuck in and I’m home.
This morning I was delivering training on problem-solving and emotional agility (aka: how to navigate the curveballs without flipping the table or rocking in a corner). And what always lands every single time...it’s not just the tools. It’s the people with the tools.
Having the tools at your fingertips is powerful, having them in your toolbox so you can be prepared, so you know how you can approach a situation to get the best out of it is a game changer from fixing to thriving.
But having the right people at your table? Walking into the right room. That’s the proper shift - the bit no one tells you about. That’s what gets you properly unstuck. That’s what gives you the clarity, the courage and frankly the relief that you’re not the only one doing all the things, all the time.
Last week, I spent the week knee deep in brilliant conversations and connections; connecting women with other women who could provide advice and perspective in similiar situations. I saw women helping each other rise just by sharing contacts, stories, perspectives. One conversation became someone else’s breakthrough.
When the tide rises it lifts all boats. It's the conversations that solve the problems and figure out the solutions. It was never about lone-wolf leadership. It’s always been about the tribe.
And it's why I've built FoundHer Fire. Community and conversation. Collaboration over competition. No elbows out, a sharing of come-backs, experiences and no narcissists allowed.
It's been brewing all year and this week I opened the doors. It's the space I wish I'd had when I was doing all the inner work - the most important work you will do.
It's the comeback club. A community of women done with the nonsense. A women-cheering-for-other-women kind of place. A “pull up a seat, let’s figure it out together” kind of place. It's full t'brim of training, coaching, networks, good old-fashioned real conversations and a group of women ready to become each other's unofficial board of female advisors.
Because when women back each other, back themselves and stop trying to do it all in isolation - it's blink stinking life-lifting (and sh*t gets sorted too). This is where women will come together to plan their sequel season, their come-back full t'brim of joy, peace, passion, purpose and all the reality.
And if that sounds like your kind of table, drop me a message.
